WOuld this make the bike hard to start if the intake cam is a little retarded? Thanks!

Thinking the rotor is 180 degrees off and should be repositioned so that rotor magnet faces left-side module when 1-4 F mark aligns. The magnet causes the module to interrupt ground from the coil primary winding, which causes the coil to fire through its secondary loop including the two spark plugs.

And would double-check identity of which coil has plug wires going to outside plugs (cylinders #1/4), and that the signal wire from left-side Dyna-S module is attached to that specific coil.

Thinking first assure it's hooked up correctly, and then go from there.

Good Luck! :)

Thanks for the help after looking at the pics and thinking instead thinking it was like my gs 750 i figured out that i may of had the ignition set up wrong the whole time. do u think the bike would still start if i had the 1-4 2-3 wires switched but had the rotor 180 out? thanks for the help patton i just noticed on the dyna instructions that the white and black wire are different than the actual ignition the one on the instructions is green 2-3 and black 1-4 on my bike they are white 1-4
(because it did but ran crapy and would not idle) and black 2-3. I am gona try this out thanks again for opening up my mind. Cheers!
