just remember hp is just a number, you need a chassis capable of putting it to the ground or its just unridable tire smoke!
You make that souind like a bad thing.

not a bad thing at all in the right hands or insane hands in my case!:woohoo: but its really easy to find yourself in trouble with a motor that over powers the chassis and a rider whos not ready for it,god knows ive worked hard to perfect the excessive hp to braincell ratio combination over the years! but then again i spent many years falling out of perfectly good airplanes, racing boats and did i mention pacemaker #2 ?:laugh:PLUMMEN wrote:

Yeah, and those gauges I checked out on those sites thanks to the other post I was reading. Not quite sure but if I am going the whole way I might add a few things with taste. Nothing that would take too much away from the original lines of the bike.
I'm stoked..... I have spring break starting for me at 3:15 and it's a week off in Sunny Puerto Rico. Gonna party and ride and worry about not having a bike to ride here when I get back.

if an unbraced frame on my 80 ltd managed to handle a heavily breathed on 1327 i dont think you have a problem with that motor!:laugh:For that combo you think I need to brace the frame on an 80? I know the pre 76 frames were weak but with a little stretch on the arm and it should be good right?
