Used to do that alot! Don't plan on racing this one very much - maybe a time or 2 without the wheelie bars to see how much of a difference the newest mods made.

It just seems that with the notch cut out in the engine, even with the gated pan, the oil might flow over the gate through the notch. Probably be OK, like you guys said.

It seems that the factory made pans go for big money most of the time. The home made ones go for much less usually.

Like you said, I think there's still a big market for the deep pans out there...
