when putting the new valve stem seals in, do you guys put the little clip on the seal and push it on, or do you put the seal on first and then push the clip over the seal?

do you put anything on the guide to lube it to help the new seal go over?

I am confused...what 'clip' are you referring to? I see no 'clip' on the exploded diagrams on www.kawasaki.com

The valve stem seals do have a wire clip around the outside to help hold them in place. Never remove them.

One thing to check - make sure there are no burrs on the stem of the valve. Often the tops can be razor sharp.

Jeff, I bought my gasket set from you - are there new clips on the new seals?
