I just found an original one on ebay for $8, same year and everything.
Because cylinder 3 and 4 are missing(the 2 pipes on the right side(when sitting on the bike) don't get hot at all), could this cause the idle to stick at a high RPM?
So to clarify(as if I were sitting on the bike), the pipes on the left side are cylinders #1 and #2, the pipes on the right side are #3 and #4, correct?
And the coil on the left side fires #1 and #4, the coil on the right side fires coil #2 and #3, correct?
I'm reading another post and someone had similar problems. The bike was "8-stroking". Maybe I have a really rich mixture in the fuel/air mixture?
