just to the left of the hole for front cylinder stud in that picture where the boss is cast into head,same thing all four outer studs.i dont know how to make those fancy arrows like the other guys do!:P im guessing they are aluminum,they dont rust.they are from when they machine oil gallerys in heads from the factory then they press the aluminum plugs in there to seal them.does that make sense?

I just realised what BSK was talking about when I was fooling with my bikes the other day look in the red circles
1979 KZ SR650, stock candy persimmon red and crossover pipes
1981 KZ 1000LTD with non stock and more comfortable handle bars and 4 into one V&H

My bike is different from yours BSK but my 650 has 4 on each side
1979 KZ SR650, stock candy persimmon red and crossover pipes
1981 KZ 1000LTD with non stock and more comfortable handle bars and 4 into one V&H
