Joe ya could of done some stunt driving and just ridden off the bridge and landed on the Heli-port platform? But looks like the person on the bicycle already tried it and landed upside down, ha.

It was probably one of my last cruises this year, because the "black.bombers" license expires on September 30th, so another seven months of motorcycling are over. Damn, time flies!
Anyway, I've ridden about 5,500 km this season,( divided between both bikes), and I've had some really great rides and days....Can´t await next year and next season

24 Sep 2025 06:52 - 24 Sep 2025 08:08There aren't many things better than being still alive and riding a bike ,
So today I took advantage of the weather again to ride a good 70 km. To my surprise, the weather is wonderful actual , a pure wonder, ...so i´ve try to use the few last days on the "black bomber"! -My blue A1 is allowed to be on the streets till end of october,..so maybe i will have another dayst o ride in the next 5 weeks before my personal bike-season ends.
Greetings, Joe

Hi Joe,
Just wanted to drop you a note, saying how much I enjoy your posts in this thread! I also feel extreme jealous! Ha ha!
The countryside you ride within is so beautiful! Just stunning! I dream about having beautiful roads like yours to ride through.
The weather where I live is beyond great for riding, but there is just too much traffic to ride safely within. Maybe in heaven, there will be your roads, and my weather! Ha ha.
Anyway, I always enjoy seeing your posts. Keep them coming...

These roads in Europe are why the whole chopper/cruiser/ pro-street scene isn't that big over here

Hello Ed,
Thank you very much for your very kind feedback! I'm glad you like my "travel reports" so much, so it's especially fun for me to continue reporting!
Yes, I'm lucky to be able to travel on really good roads right here on the edge of the city. The Elbe and its tributaries are surrounded by many small dike roads, or even the main dike directly along the large river on both sides...but I also often travel to completely different areas that are farther away...like to the "Eastsea", about 120 to 150 Km´s from my homebase, a lot of roads are ok or better from the condition, but we´ve also here a very few that are full of holes and worse cond.
And sometime, especially in midsummertime, they have a hole in their head here fom the gov. and roadworking, than they bring up new asphalt with rollsplit peavement on it,and of course, WITHOUT any cleaning after that, THAN it is more than dangerous to drive on this loose ministones...they are here NO bikers friends
Anyway, maybe, you will visit one time (northern) germany, then rent a motorbike and try to enjoy it here...Me, i wished, i have had a motorcycle as i´ve been in the US for few time years ago, especially in Cal. in the sierra nevada and Yosemite, also in Utah, i remember great times there i was with my own CJ7 Jeep, 4 states in 4 weeks, about 4K miles...but only on 4 wheels.. ;-(
Keep on riding, or try it,..and i must also say: I like your technican acknowledegements, your enthusiasm and your help for all who will need it!
Take care, and all the best,
Joe

I don't know where you are but every time I think about moving back to the NW (which I think about weekly) I think of trying to ride on those congested, windy roads with maniacs from the cities trying to get back at 20 over the limit...and I know I am fortunate in the upper Midwest to have so many beautiful wide open uncongested roads with forests, lakes rivers...Hopefully like Joe I will have a reliable bike suitable for longer rides and photo essays by next year.
I also spend time in the SW and you couldn't pay me to ride with the completely unhinged drivers there.
