I see the Yamaha RD's made a presence!! I have a Friend local that has a garage full of the R5/RD350/RD400's. He used to race them all over the states. Have another local Friend with the RZ350's and a couple Canadian framed RZ500's. I turned him on to one of the 500's and he's still cursing me, ha. He's got probably 25K USD in that one. He's a glutton for spending all that money on his bikes so it's really his fault, he's just in denial, hehe.

Hi Clay,
An RD250 with a 350cc engine was my first "big" motorcycle back when I was 18. It was incredibly nimble with its 37 hp, and I had a lot of fun with it, naturally with the long TZ aluminum tank and mono seat. ;-)

Today I was out on a 250 km tour with two of my friends again. In perfect weather and with relatively empty roads, we really let the wheels fly and enjoyed every curve that came our way. There's not much better (for me) than being out on the road with good friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not my coined phrase but more fun to ride a slow bike as fast as possible then to have a TZ750 ya can't control, ha. Hopefully You're havening a blast Joe, first glance thought you were at the Nurburgring Track, ha.

No Clay, I was on the Nurburgring the last time in 1982-`83...that was a long time ago...and yes, on the 350 Yamaha back then no 750 Honda was safe from me ;-), when the road was winding ;-)

Ha, today it was again so a day, as we´ve had at  age 20...full fuel tank, only a full pocket full of fun, good running engines, warm weather, empty roads..wheels are turning perfectly...life can be so easy, warm and gentle...! ( Sure, i am still full of adrenalin, like ever, when i am coming home after a little faster curvy ride and with a complete functionally body, bike in good cond. and all these good things, that made the life so wonderfull... ;-)

I don´t want to make a great story about, or to "show a big thing about"...:
(( Sure, an old Z1000 isn't a "supersport racer" with a top-of-the-line chassis and 200 hp,...but I still ride it with what the tires, chassis, and power can offer,...and it still works pretty well, at least still well enough that not everyone can get past me ;-)...For me is it enough, that i can handle it well enough to go fast and faster on a curvy road till to the tires profile-rim, sometimes better, other days a little safer, so, as my "popmeter" tell me at the day, when  i ride... ))
Have you all a lot of fun also: Ride on!!!!

Greetings, Joe

Thanks, Clay!Whenever I'm on a motorcycle, I'm a teenager again (at least in my head)...I just can't get the boy out of the man! ;-)
It keeps me young, and for me, it's best with pants on...

NO i give you a sign when they will arrive!...,..And your Birthday key-hangers shoud reach you within the next 10 days, ( i hope for it)

Look, a little tinkering is OK, ...especially if it's necessary or for improvement, ...But bikes are made  for RIDE, ...and if the weather is right, then I like to sit in the saddle for hours and miles!.  Today we rode from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., had a bite to eat in between, but also rode about 250 km through the countryside!- That is what i´ve called my personal luck and fun..a day like this is better for me than a 10 days vacation on an over-publiced beach, or where zillions of people are...

Just from the bit of info i've gotten, those sandy resort quality areas have become the devils playground these days. Better to have a quick report of flinging yourself/company out of the "danger" zone. I could say more, waay much more but i'd be banned.
