1. Had the engine rebuilt. My Uncle's friend told me he would rebuild the top end, but what he DIDNT tell me is he and my Uncle struck up a deal where he actually REBUILT the engine, and didnt tell me until my birthday on March 23!!!
2. Had the fuel tank and rear fairing painted
3. Had the carbs completely rebuilt
The carbs, well, after the rebuild, 1 and 3 kept fouling plugs. 2 and 4 are fine. I backed the air screws on 1 and 3 WAAAY out and now the bike is fine. Im pleased.
Job done.

At the end of March, my uncle calls me to wish me a Happy Bday, and tells me to check my email. In my inbox was pics of the ENTIRE KZ650 engine disassembled!!! The email also contain screen shots of receipts/parts etc.
He says "Happy Bday! Youre engine was rebuilt!"
Im happy about it but I was like "Dude, imagine if I really got on the thing, not knowing there is a break in period?!!!" He said he knew that wouldnt happen because the carbs were being rebuilt, the tank was off, and it and the rear fairing were being painted: I hadnt been on the bike since I got it back since the rebuild and paint...until now!
Here it is.

Nope. Sorry. No offense to you, but I dont want to be dissected., critiqued and admonished.
The dude rebuilt the engine. He showed me all the pics and I really dont feel like posting them here. Its not the most agreeable environment.

They say the first step is admitting it. I seem you recall your critique of injected picture, making fun of his jeans.DanMadBoy wrote: Nope. Sorry. No offense to you, but I dont want to be dissected., critiqued and admonished.

I think you made that comment when you were 19 years old. I understand to far in the past.

Time to move on. Please show respect for the forum by not derailing threads and adding to clutter.

If you want to talk about things other than bikes, please go post in daily chatter, not in this post where I am discussing bikes.
Thanks in advance.

Well it was until you turned up, Can't imagine why your threads get locked after descending into a slanging match.
If you don't find it agreeable your not being forced to hang around.
Oh, and it's coils, plural not singular, but I expect you'll go back and edit it now.
