NOW that is a manly heavy duty lift !!!
I want the version that has removable side panels to make the lift wide enough for ATVs
Dave

The Handy lift is the Cadillac of all the lifts out there. The air powered lift starts at 1,200 bucks!!! And that is without the wheel chock, thats an extra 175 bucks!!!! Your side extensions are another 325 bucks!!!!!!! And if you want the electric powered lift, that starts at 1,800 dollars!!!!!!!!!!! PLUS FREIGHT!!!!

I bought the last one I had back in 1982 and it was only 650 bucks and like 75 bucks freight. If I had the extra bucks to spend today, I would buy the Handy.

In the Detroit area this is the go to guy for lifts.
I purchased a 11,000 pound commercial car lift from him years ago
He is like a wholesaler that sells direct out of his warehouse
Check out the motorcycle lifts and prices

This is what I ended up with. Kendon stand up lift. This is the heavy duty model which is probably more than I need but I got it half of retail price on Craigslist so I couldn’t pass it up. Works great and very well made. I’m going to modify it to accommodate paddock stands. I love how it folds up to stow away

Just found this Direct-Lift (1000 LB) "air powered" motorcycle lift on local Craigslist ad.  It had been sitting in guys garage for years just never assembled or ever used.

I have to say that where space is an issue the lift I bought for my project takes some beating, it is screw operated (cordless drill) so should last for as long as I do. At approx $450 I think it was great value when compared to wobbly Chinese lifts at a similar price that would have filled garage. This has no ratchet straps to get in the way when working (I made the mounts to do what I wanted it to

I'm using a Harbor Freight lift table and I made side tables from an old twin bed frame. We've resurrected over 20 bikes on it. I bought the lift 5 years ago for $175.

It's not really a lift but it's pretty handy.

2'x4' piece of plywood with 2"x3" supports and 5" urethane swivel casters. The black finish is rattle-can bedliner.

Will probably try the side extensions at some point in future but like having the extra room to be able to walk around in my garage.

Another HF lift here I purchased probably 12 years ago. Still works great. I use the front wheel clamp but also have tie downs JIC. The old socks cover the buckles to protect the paint.
Also, it took me three or four years of use before I discovered the ramp can be stored hanging on the side of the lift when up.
