To all members, stay away from this suicide style bikes.
I, my self see a friend in front of me flip over with this kind of "socialism hero bikes" by jamming of a piston in a sleeve accident.
God bless, he only got some scratches, the cylinder get riped apart of the engine case., its a very poor cheap BMW copied engine..

1978 KZ650B 39yrs
1974 H2 38yrs
1979 KZ1000MK2 34yrs
1977 KZ650 25yrs
Another 1978 KZ650 25yrs
Another 1977 KZ650 24yrs
1980 KZ1000ST 17yrs
A 2008 Goldwing and a 2017 Yamaha Super Tenere for the ones I ride now.
All 7 of my old Kawasaki's combined I payed less than the H2 or KZ1000MKII is worth alone now, so not a bad investment in my opinion.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

KZQ wrote: Hi Folks,
Please read the description of this "Engine" forum before posting here. Seems that a lot of newer members post topics, that belong elsewhere, in this forum just because it's at the top of the listing. In the past we (the Admin Team) have just moved those threads to the proper forums and left a pointer to where the thread was moved. Unfortunately, the pointer thingy doesn't work very well in this version of the software. The end result is that if a thread is posted in the wrong forum we will move it to where it belongs. Once moved that thread may not be easily found. Hopefully this will not result in "Who Deleted My Post?" complaints. I'll leave this thread here for a time and then work it into the forum rules. Thanks for your cooperation. Bill
Engine Forum
Camshaft, cylinder head, valves, cylinder block, pistons, exhaust, crankshaft, clutch, transmission, engine lubrication system, etc.
Of JWKZ750's 14 newly created topics to-date, all were posted in the Engine Forum, 12 of which obviously belonged in different forums, seemingly oblivious to choosing an appropriate forum for newly created topics.
Initially, the topics were simply moved. More recently, topic relocations have also reiterated KZQ's request for cooperation in choice of forum.
Thread locked until able to move out of Engine forum.

Im hoping Les Holt chimes in with his collection.
He might have to go look at his collection before he can list them all.

Please when creating a new topic take a few extra seconds and make sure the posts match the proper section.
That will keep this from being moderated in the future.
I was in mid post the other day while Patton was also working the same post causing a little chaos.
Enjoying the topic.
It is now in Bike related section as it should be.
I know Les has been checking in and will be posting his response to my post as soon as he reads this.
Thanks
Dave
