When I'm teaching cornering I often will ask the question: "What should you do when you're running wide in a corner?" Students will often come back with slow down or back out of the throttle, at which point I gesture toward my bike and say that that motorcycle is a better motorcycle that I am a motorcyclist, the correct answer is "More Press" The Bike can do it!
What little I could see of that crash suggests "Target Fixation" especially the right foot down and not on the brake.

I was riding my 350 Honda at 18. My boss Jim had a 73 Z1, was in his 40's and had been riding all his life. He told me my bike will out perform me in any situation. Stay on the power and lean into the turn. NEVER use the brakes until you're through it. That stuck with me all this time. I always shift down so I have power in case I get into trouble be it having to power out, get a wobble or like out here a cross wind. The power more often than not will get you through. ;)

What a lucky guy, he got air time and catch soften by parabolic flight path and the the bushes.
But why the hell some riders donĀ“t wear gloves? Seen so often on hot weather conditions.
I hope he is ok.

Yeah I understand. I'll take it down. If I can find the YouTube link I'll put it up. In the clip a guy on a bike is seen kicking a car, then the car swerves trying to send him into the concrete center divider but loses control, smashes into the divider then spins into the other lanes hitting a new pickup causing it to flip over. The bike stays upright and navigates through the wreckage and keeps on going. It looks like a HD bagger. Another lucky guy.

I'd say he is a really lucky jackass who may do serious jail time. We dont know what got him so riled up, but pulling up to a car and kicking it is not the answer. Buttheads like that give motorcyclists a bad name. Imagine what the non-motorcyclists will think when they see the video. His out of control anger, along with the out of control anger of that pinhead in the car, caused a major accident that could have easily killed the old man in the truck.

That's the worst part. Stupid to kick a moving car anyway.

That's the one. There's a longer version showing the car cutting the bike off before this happened. The guy on the bike is now the bad guy and the one in the car the victim. Stupid move.
