GPz 550 cargo rack project was created by mangosteen
Turns out finding a rear rack for the kz/ gpz family isn't so simple, so I decided to build one. Just thought I'd share the finished product.
It mounts with two shaft collars, and is as strong as the bar it mounts to. Just the turn of an allen key and its off in a few seconds. Had about 50 pounds in there today and it felt pretty darn solid.
If nothing else, I won't have to shove a 12 pack in my backpack anymore!

I like the rack,but the angle of that dangle looks like stuff would shift to the back. Maybe it's a photo illusion. R

Its sorta funny looking, I'll admit. Good thing it pops off so easily for when I get sick of it. Its actually pitched forward just a bit. The photo does create a bit of an illusion. Just in time for when you come across 40 lbs of pastries headed for the dumpster :silly:
