Are you POSITIVE it's a twin (that's a 2 cylinder engine)? Kawasaki did make a model with a 3 cylinder 750cc 2-stroke engine up until about 1975, and it came with 3 carbs. Ed

Call police! One carb was stolen!!!!!Rumple44 wrote: I bought the bike sight unseen. I only saw pics of it. Now that I have the bike in my possession, it is only 2 carbs. I don't know what the dude was thinking. I still need to find out how to apply for a title, and the bike only has eleven characters for the VIN number
Race models had extra carb for more power.

I have never seen or heard of any engine that has more carbs than cylinders, and I cannot imagine how 3 carbs would feed 2 cylinders. PLEASE post a picture showing the carbs and intake manifold as you have a one of a kind bike! Ed
I had a single cylinder honda xr600 that had 2 carbs, and a Yamaha xt 600 single that had a carb and a half, lol.

Interesting. I guess Honda didn't love that idea too much or their 6 cylinder CBX would have had 12 carbs! :woohoo: :woohoo: Talk about an expensive tune-up!  Ed
