Please let me know clutch spring length specs. If I have "tired" springs, most likely you do too, unless you replaced them. 15 min replacement time! 8 bolts cover, 6 bolts cluth push plateMcdroid wrote: Yep...I can verify its existence...I own one.
I measured 32mm. All friction disks are OK, so springs are most likely reason for minor slipping.
I ordered EBC spring from ebay for $100 shipped.

I've seen them in local libraries too. kz900.com/books/index.html#kz1000 ..............................Mikecar5car wrote: It probably doesn't exist. Local Kawasaki dealer doesn't have it for their mechanics!

How does that help the op? Are you going to sell it to him or what?

Clarification that i have both the 750 & 1000 manuals from the same source, given the same treatment.martin_csr wrote:

Kawasaki doesn't evaluate clutch springs on your model by the length of the spring, but rather, by spring tension...standard being 19.1-22.5 kg. Replace at 17.5 kg. Of course, they use a special tool to measure tension...which few of us have. You are probably safe by replacing. I did note that they say spring length for a stock spring is 22.1 mm. You probably already have HD springs.
