I've had the same issues with the last 3 orders (long wait)

On one of the items I bought, it did state on backorder and original email said it would ship no later then 2 weeks from order date. After 3, I emailed, and they said it had shipped anweek prior, however no tracking info could be provided.... They shipped a second package that day, and I received it in 4 biz days... (Still another week), a couple days later, what I assume was the original order, showed up....

In that time, I ordered the same "backordered" part (keihin cv34 float bowl gaskets) from eBay, and recorded them 3 days later....

I cannot fault them at z1, they're communication, if you reach out to them, is great... I do wish they would instigate shipment updates however, or maybe they have gotten bigger an just need some help???

They do cater to our bikes, and feel mom and pop, which I love to support...

Just sucks when you can order stuff and get it the same week off eBay and amazon, and have to wait 3 weeks from a place that lists "99% of items in stock and ship same day"...

Jeff, Chris and others at Z1E have been fantastic over the 4 years I have dealt with them. Never had a problem, crossed word or del issue. I would consider them a friend and my go to place for new parts. I have called and asked for advice several times. Jeff spent 30 to 45 mins with me on the phone and advice was clear and spot on.

On delivery issues, never had them? most of my purchases are 2 day via Priority Mail. I just purchased a part, it clearly stated part would ship 10 days later during checkout, I went forward with purchase. I believe this is the cause for some of the delivery claims taking so long. Make sure you scour the pages for info as Jeff puts any delays in there.

Hats off to Z1E and great job guys.

For used parts, Brian who is a forum member is awesome. KZ10006 is his screen name, he is fair price wise and ships fast. Thanks again Brian.

I ordered from them for the first time about a week ago. Seems google auto fill got my street address and my phone number jumbled up. I received an email that day asking to confirm the address. I promptly responded with the correct address and it was shipped out the next morning. So overall I was very happy with their service. I imagine a lot of it depends on if you're ordered simple off the shelf items or little specialty parts.

Z1 Is always my go to when I need odd ball parts that I can't find anywhere else. Like many have stated, I have had issues with slow shipping times, not near as long as old bike barn though  so if it is parts that I need ASAP I usually order from elsewhere, but when there is no hurry I will go through them.

About a year ago I ordered shims and gaskets to do my valve adjustment. In the special instructions box, I asked if they could hook me up with some Z1 enterprises stickers. Someone there has a sense of humor and literately threw two stack of stickers into the box. I still have about 50 stickers sitting in a drawer somewhere, but I am repping them hard, there is a logo on all of my helmets, laptops, and phone! lol

I'm still shaking my head about getting a wrong piston. Numbers were correct on the box and the rings were right, I never got a answer how this happened. Set me back two weeks. I now have more than one supplier.

No, Wiseco sent me one direct, they provided a shipping label and I sent to wrong one directly to Wiseco. There were other issues as well. That's why I looked for other suppliers. The NOS dust boots was the deal breaker.

I've delt with them a few times with no issue's.
I try to deal with Robert every time and if he's said it'll
be here so and so day every thing has been.

When I got the new chain and sprockets I wanted a 42T and a 45T
rear sprocket the 45T was out of stock about six weeks later Robert
calls asking if I still wanted the 45T said they had got some and was just following up
and to me thats customer service.

I hate to pile on, but I ordered from Z1 in early June. I ordered dyna coils, dyna wires and plugs.
It took two weeks because they didn't have the coils.

On Monday I ordered carb holders, vacuum plugs, fork seals, a gas tank seal and some carb bolts. My parts haven't shipped.
They are very nice on the phone, but have never responded to my emails or special parts requests through their website.

Maybe there's too much vintage Japanese motorcycle business for them to handle efficiently?
I really appreciate their effort, and their prices are good, I'm just disappointed in their fulfillment time.

I eventually got all my stuff. My main gripe is just that if they don't actually have something in-stock, they should make that obvious on the website.

I like sites that let you add out of stock items to your cart, but show the status there and warn you before checkout that the order will be delayed. Email alerts when items come back in stock are a bonus. This lets people plan their purchases efficiently.

Now I have a lot of lost time and twice as many parts as I needed because I had to order the same stuff from ebay and partzilla in the meantime. Partzilla sent me only 3 of the 4 cylinder head oil seals I needed and I had to wait another week for the 4th. Now I've got, get this, ONE FREAKING DAY left to get this bike back together and running before the ***hole landlord tows it.

The only parts I've gotten promptly during this ordeal have been the ones I ordered from eBay.
