I love my Z1R but if I had a second the 750 turbo would be on the list with the lawson special, as a drag racer, I like it better, good choice. I'm enjoying the BOTM,
First Permanent ride the Z1R since Dec1977 (220,000km) as of June 2015
Second permanent bike 1989 FJ1200 dyno'd 140RWH, great bike.
Third ride is now the Frankenstein 1981 GPZ1100B1, getting new/ refurbished 83-84 motor soon
Forth my work bike FJ1200 1989 (same type as above)

Good Morning and Happy August 1rst :cheer:
Obviously the Fader didn't switch yet as scheduled , But never fear we do have a new BOTM for August

The featured bike is a near as can be to perfect 81 Kaw 1000CSR
David purchased this beauty only 8 months ago and besides some rotten rubbers on the intake boots at the air cleaner and removing the smog system the bike is perfect.
Course what else would you expect from a machine with only 3400 miles on it :P
David was a sport bike rider for the past 35 years who always had in mind getting a big classic Kawasaki and when he located this bike it was time to pull the trigger.
Seeing that David lives in the UK he promises that this fine machine will only be ridden on Sunny days
David Loves being part of the KZR community , and has gain great information here from what he describes as a great bunch of guys.
So without further fanfare as I am running out of breathe Please welcome Kwaker2000 to August BOTM
