Fiddle farting around Steve, need any shift shafts/levers? I see you'd welded something? Not real clear what you were doing, shank of lever or pinning the lever to the shift shaft because the splines were worn out? Let me know my Friend, I've plenty of this stuff. Still got to get You out of that hotbox shed somehow, ha.

It's not too bad in there. I could use a shift lever. The gear selector splines are better than the  one I got from Oink last time. I could use a shift lever if you have one and there are no "tariffs".
Let me know what you want for it and how much you need. The one I was working on was off a 350 Honda I had laying around.

Although all the same pitch of the splines, a bit different length/bend. You got it my Friend. Do You need the shift shaft too, they had two different versions? Check the number of spring coils on yours and let me know.

I bought a gear selector and the shaft looks new, The Z1's had a 3 wind spring and the later were 4 wind so they wouldn't break as easy. It's a common upgrade now. I need just the shift lever if you have one. Thanks

Actually spring differences were based on clearance Not strength the difference between the 3 and 4 coiled springs, don't be fooled.

The spring fits fine. The extra coil allows it to expand less thus less stress on the coil. Been using them for years.
