Nobody built a kawi and honestly there were not many in the crowd. Mine had some issues that weekend, so I did not ride in for the festival.
I follow a few of those builders on social media, and Chvrch is actually going to be building a z900 chopper for his next big build.

I wish i could have been there, I just found those photos online. You never seem to see many Kawasaki's, even at vintage events.

That thing in the OP is just more unridable "art" to me
It looks more rideable than either of those "good looking hogs." Its fully suspended, with 3 disc, and a raised transmission and pegs so it has a decent lean angle. He also reverse engineered the rear cylinder to use a front head. How often do you see that? Aesthetics aside you have to respect the craftsmanship and engineering skill that went into this.

Other than that, yes a suspension swap, peanut style tank (it's a full gallon jesse) minus the easy seeming head swap standard harley fare.
