Other than that, yes a suspension swap, peanut style tank (it's a full gallon jesse) minus the easy seeming head swap standard harley fare.

A single loop softail frame seems rather unusual to me. Is it considered swap when you build your own frame, swingarm, triple trees and wheels from scratch? As far as the heads, all you have to do is swap exhaust and intake cams, but the rest is a bit more complicated than that....

shovelheads have a single cam.

brandons bike is a shovelhead based engine.

so there is just a touch more involved than switching intake and exhaust cams.

i like anything that has 2 wheels and an engine.

some people "get it",
some people" don't".

it's okay if you don't,

it would be a very boring world if we all liked cool shit!

I applaud his skills, but the result doesn't look like it would be much fun to ride. I would much rather have a chance to ride THIS Harley (but not on the street without a front brake):

More familiar with the sporster type motors that have separate cams to drive the pushrods.
That being said, I have never gotten the appeal of the "frisco" style or peanut tanks sitting high up on the backbones they seldom flow with the lines and look out of place, ya got me on the engine work, but the angular rear end treatment and that tank do not flow together, kudos to the builder on the engine work, but to me it falls short in the design, too open, and the front and rear clash to me

i figured you of all people might "get" the engine work. I am very impressed by the mechanical fuel injection you have done on your kz440, but in the end you still have a relatively slow bike that very few people will understand the amount of work you put into it, but that doesn't mean its not cool or a testament to your skills.

Im not normally a huge fan of the frisco style either, but high quality craftsmanship is beautiful in its own right to me, even if it is extremely mechanical. I guess thats where the appeal of this bike comes from, but if i had to choose between this and an race prepped XR750 with a front brake for the street... XR750 all the way

I can appreciate craftmanship, but a 180° turn in the port before it exits the head?!
