simple/retro helmet?

I want something very simple or vintage looking. My only stipulations in finding a helmet is that it is full face and has a visor that can be opened. Otherwise i would be all over the biltwell gringo helmet, but alas no functioning visor.

right now im leaning towards the simpson street bandit, definitely a classic. I think some of the car racing helmets look pretty sweet but probably not best for bikes. any suggestions?

i like the look of the AGV AX-8 EVO Naked Helmet

I still use my 1980 full face BELL helmet once in a while, cost $300.00 back then. If I had to buy one, I would get BELL once again.

it fits great, you cant ride with the visor fully opened, it whistles.

Looks like something K Mart sold 35 years ago for 19.95!!!

bell is coming out with a retro helmet from the 70's also with a openface

Too bad Bell motorcycle helmets are no longer made here in the good old U.S. of A.

One of the best fitting and comfortable helmets I ever wore were the 1981 and up model Bell Star, and the later Pro Star model.

Too bad Bell would not remake and update that model helmet again!!!

After that their helmets turned to junk. When I was riding, I would buy 3 or 4 new helmets a year.

You can't wear your Kawasaki Lime green helmet and leather on your red/white / blue GSXR now can you.

I like my Arthur Fulmer full face late 70's helmet..it gets a lot of looks..not to functional tho..and if your in a state that requires a dot sticker you're goanna get a ticket... :woohoo: :evil:

Doc i was looking around awhile back for a "Retro" Helmet and found these TACHIBANA in Japan japan.webike.net/bm/brd/Helmets/TACHIBANA/3001/1189/ i really like the look of them but have no feedback from anyone who has bought one. So i am still on the fence
