I was in the infield watching the race and standing next to me was Arthur Kowitz (spell check) the legend of Z1 roadracing. He runs the vintage series on a Z1 and has raced the 200 in the 70's on Kaw power. He signed my shirt and my bike, he is even mailing me a poster left over from his 08 season. His wife said he had a few left under his bed but all the shirts were long gone (except the one his son was wearing). What a stand up guy. He took time out of his race spectating to shoot the shit with me about the old Kaws. He noticed my bike as soon as I parked it. Nothing makes that sweet sound of a KZ.

Arthur is a member here also and is so knowledgeable about the old 900 it is mind numbing.

Daytona track if rough in some spots.

When I see bikes up to speed on strights I think "hope the chain dosent break"..... :sick:
