Just an FYI, the Blue Flag icon shows where the flag is in Canada. I'll try to update that so as it moves the standard marker will be replaced with the Blue Flag then turn back to the Blue Balloon after it moves on.

Just remember there are 30 relayers yet to get the flag in Leg#2. When you get it, please try to move it on as soon as you can so we can get this to Leg#3!

Also, we are still in a need of an Alabama rider, if not we have a long distance transfer from Tennessee to Mississippi.

I will update the map again but I'll leave Koolaid Kid in the route as he probably has plenty of time to work it out.

Kool. For some reason I thought it was already in the states. I'll have to check my settings here as I no longer receive updates to these threads.
The bike is almost done, btw. I'll post with my findings when I am done, but certainly keep me in the circuit.

I no longer get any notifications when these threads are updated, or I get a PM. Can anyone guide me through the steps of changing/verifying my settings? They worked up until a month or so ago, not sure what happened. I am very computer literate, but not familiar with this message board format.
Thanks, George

Just under this posting will be a "subscribe or unsubscribe" button. If it says "unsubscribe" then the problem lies in you email address in your "my profile". Check that it is what you have as your email if you are "subscribed". If it says subscribe then click it so you will get notices, not sure how or why you wouldn't get notices now if you were subscribed to it before but who knows how things happen sometimes!

Also if you haven't logged in since receiving a notice of a posting in this thread then it will not send you more notices until you log in and check the thread. If you just read the message contents in the emailed notice that doesn't count, you have to log in.

The ride from Huntsville to Jackson is about 5 hours by car on the interstate as I recall. I'll probably cut across 278 over to US 45 in Mississippi and work my way down that way. Will probably take a full day to ride it. I'd rather do that than cruse down the interstate. Hate riding on the interstate unless it is unavoidable.

Okay just made up my mind. I'm going to hop over to the Natchez Trace and ride it all the way into Jackson! It's a longer ride but the road is only used by bikers, bicyclist, and locals. Should be an awesome ride.

Good choice if you like riding 50 mph in a shady forest for a few hours. ;)
Just watch for deer, and huge turtles crossing the Trace. Should be an enjoyable ride.
I'm going to avoid interstate hwys as much as possible.

Chris, yes that would be great. Am planning to call you as time nears. Actually we are so close we should do some riding before then.
