North American Relay Ride Leg #2 was created by KZ_Rage
I have volunteered to take the 2nd leg of the relay ride in the main thread for this event so unless someone else wants to do this then here is what we have so far.
If anyone signed up for Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ontario Canada and Michigan please post a confirmation as to what part you can cover of the route.
We REALLY need a Western New York near the lake or Erie PA relayer!
Here is the very tentative route:

KZ_Rage, enaz1 is by Dallas GA. We don't have him as part of the first eastern leg but can include him without any problem at all. Or he can be part of the 2nd leg and cut some of your Alabama trip. Maybe enaz1 can chime in on his preference.

Just posting my confirmation, also:
If KZCM doesnt want to go thru Mississippi I can catch it on a half day trip and ride the Natchez Trace Parkway ( has been on my ride list). If boatdrinks is interested we could ride over there together.

Thanks guys, I'll start getting some links of the route set up on the map based on your plan.
JD, maybe you could be the start of the 3rd leg or we can add you to the 2nd leg as the ending point for it after Harm passes it off from Michigan. It probably would need to go north to Wisconsin / Minnesota before turning south but that is up to whoever takes on organizing leg #3

What would be wrong with leaving the flag at a safe house, like a bike shop, if hooking up is a problem ?

If leaving it at someplace safe is the only way to make a transfer then it will have to do but since we're not on some tight time schedule in moving it forward to toward the next destination, relayers should be able to meet in a reasonable amount of time after one of them has it to pass off. That's part of the appeal of the relay is for KZR members to actually meet one another which is pretty rare seeing how we are more sparsely spread out say than the GSR crowd.
I'm hoping that there will be photos of the hand offs of the flag as well as photos of the flag in front of state signs either at the hand or as it passes through a state or province.
Weather, bike issues and peoples real life getting taking time from riding will determine how fast the flag moves forward. Quickly is great but it is going to be hard for it to make it coast to coast from March to December. The western states are huge and very sparsely covered by members at this point.
