All cats out of the bag,
1260 motor with 9.00-1 comp, purpose ported head with 38 in, 31 ex, gpz cams, GT25 Garrett turbo purpose built for this motor, Mr Turbo prepped 42 Mukuni carb, Atp intake. I'm not looking for stupid power, just crazy fun power. It might bust 200 hp but I'm only going with 8# boost right now for Daytona bike week.
Wastegate is a "Precision turbo 39mm"

Les

Wholly! GT25 and 39mm wg are some big items for a bike! I'm guessing the wheels are on the smaller side, do you know the detailed specs? 200hp wont be a problem for that turbo.

Basically, the turbo ended up pretty close to one turbo off the Nissan 300ZX twin turbo cars. OH, it might bust 200. This whole project has been silly, went to assemble the 1260, BAD sleeve again! Same one as before and same place. I really think the wrong sleeve got replaced but you can't tell which one if any got replaced. Bad call on my part sending it out to a person I knew was going under but, hey, I felt bad for him. :( Now I know why.
Now the motor is 1075 with MTC turbo pistons, ALL NEW! 84 GPZ1100 cams, cavanaugh ported 1000 head with 31 exh. and 38 intakes. Inverted buckets, 1000 crank indexed and welded, 1000 trans prepped by schnitz racing, MK11 cases with APE studs and nuts top and bottom, Mr. Turbo prepped hrs42 flatside.

Oh what a hectic life we live! I haven't been able to get in touch with some people here due to major time restraints and we are playing catch up right now. We are listing our home so we have been boxing and storing like crazy to prepare for it. In doing so I came across some things I had forgotten I had so I got a hold of one of my best friends that knows more about these old Kaws than I'll ever know. Ended up buying him totally out, Bought his last Z1 and a piece of sentimental history from over 30 years ago. Having purchased a new camera, I thought it was a good time to take a minute to play.
Tank from old Double Vision bike built in 1979/1980. Took 3 Z1R tanks to make.

I've been asked to post closeups of the paint on my bike to show the crispness of the lines and just how much metallic is in it.
