yeah, the front fender is a PUIG, off e-bay. Don't like the ninja badging but I liked the way it was made up. My biggest issue with modern front ends is the fender layouts. I like the traditional style fenders but this one seemed to add to the rest of the parts that went into the bike.

Jeff, your carbs should ship tomorrow. Couldn't get them out today, Mondays always hard to get out of work on time.

PUIG? Im gonna look into that
I have a chrome fender you could make fit if you want
Its already been cut down
I dont use it cause it flings crap up at my engine on wet days
But its fine if you only ride in fair weather

WD40 is a good chain lube remover.

Then, forever after, use

And start collecting rocks to throw at all the dedicated chain lubes.

Nice build Les!!!

I've never had a problem using Maxima chain wax.
PJ is messy.
Patton how long have you used the Dupont on your big bike chains? I bought a can and used it on my DRZ400. Seems ok so far.
Got 18k out of the stock chain on my KLR(lots of off roading) using Maxima, have 12k on the second chain so far.

Someone once told me to marry that motorcycle I was riding ......there's times I wish I hadda listened .

Have been a fan of this product for several years, since learning about it here on KZr.
I douche the entire drive chain often and liberally, especially after washing.
Usually don't bother with cleaning before douching. It's inexpensive, and goes on thin, which itself serves to remove most of any road gunge during application.

Used on many things beside the bike chains, other moving bike parts as well, such as interior cable lube (with the little injector tool). And other stuff, like chain saw bar and chain, swivel chair mechanisms, door hinges, etc., etc.

Good Fortune! :)

Little updating needed. Got the seat in, it's okay but still not what I'm wanting, the fit isn't that bad but it could be better, I'll post a pic when I get the new camera in. Bumped the pilot jets up to 22.5 from 17.5 and changed out the air bleeds to .6 from 1.0's, BIG difference but still need to sync them. Hoping the new plug wires will be here by the week end but not important, it still runs. Going to be cooler here the next few days so I'm spending time in the shop, new toys there too. B)
Oh, and goo gone took the chain lube off like it was nothing.

New toy not fairing out well, guessing we killed the hard drive in the computer on the way home. It's only $2250 for new pc. :( I have a lot of part making to get in the green on this one. And to think I'm going to be moving again in a few months.
