Whats the hurry again? WTF are we going to do with it when it hits all the states? Again if you are in such a hurry for it to move then help find someone to go get it on get on your bike and go get yourself. Personally I'm tired of hearing you wine about its progress.

The time things take to happen is all a part of the journey. Let's enjoy it. I remember last summer riding with Forrest to Jackson Hole Wyoming to pas off to Kawaholic. Yeah, I wasn't on my kz but I cared enough for the ride and wanted to meet the other guys on the board. That was a lot of fun. It will happen again if I need to pick it up on my new Z1r from tri and bring it back so that it can make it to OMR and the other guys. This isn't a big deal, the time, unless you have been diagnosed...

toolmaker wrote: It seems that whenever Schuss is available I have had other commitments - don't blame him though. We have waited 2 years for it to get here and now that we are having monsoon rains and temps in the 40's everyone wants it to move. I'll try to go get it next week when it dries up if Schuss is willing.

Toolmaker, Schuss said you are going to get it either Tuesday or Wednesday of this week? you'll have it in Portland. So are you willing still to move it beyond, south to N CA? Slayer61 is down in Lodi, and is the next contact. It will require a lot of miles to do this meet. If you're willing and able fine, myself and KZCSI would like to ride also. Otherwise I can come to Portland and get the Flag back from you and take it south to Slayer61. I know you want to take part in the relay, so hopefully you will. Schuss is getting Very Frustrated with it all.
The PNW is quite a vast area, with population more centered towards the I-5 corridor. Not very many KZR members have posted about the relay. The few that put themselves on the relay map back when it all started have been either no longer interested or some other change where they don't post anymore.
Hopefully Slayer61 will have better luck organizing a hand off, and then the next rider. Once it gets into a Mega Populated area like S CA, there should be No problem getting a rider. Hopefully it will go smoothly heading from CA to AZ.
Doesn't the Flag still need to take a slice out of NV?

I have posted few times about Nevada and have not had a response. I will post a Craigslist ad and call a few dealerships once it makes it to Cali. Hopefully the my bike will be done by then. I have talked to OMR about taking a ride to get the flag. If nothing else if I will go get it from Cali and get it to AZ so a couple of guys here can ride with it. All I need is 2 weeks notice to leave work and an excuse to ride. B)

Would one of the riders from the South West Area like to start a thread for that leg of the Relay??
Might get another couple of riders, if you get a thread with a South West Title.
Organize up some contact details, and hopefully meets. Looks like the Flag will move again first weekend of June. This is the earliest that the next rider can make a meet. Which gives me a couple a extra weeks to get a few people interested in a ride. Hopefully I won't have to Solo the last leg in the PNW relay.

Corey Clough, GPz guru and bad ass rider, needs to bring this home on Elvira! He is an avid KZ pilot and master of technology, the gas powered, 2 wheeled sort. Hunt him down and bestow upon him the glory of the flag. Please.
