I'm certain Forrest Still haves the Flag. He did say he could get some closeups of both sides of the Flag and post them, but I haven't seen them yet.
It was great doing the relay and the rally. It would be great if another similar relay or rally would take place.
Maybe there could be some renewed interest in it all at some point. Seems as though the last year and a half of the relay, the interest faded off a lot. Still many members got involved and meet some fellow KZRiders. The Whole point right?
By the way, what was the Total # for Flag Carriers? In the 60's?

As far as who deserves to have this Relay Flag. I do not know. I know this, the KZ Riders who carried The Relay Flag on their KZ or vintage Kawasakis deserved it at that moment in time. That is what is important, living with The Flag in that moment.
I am not going to hang onto it much longer. If there is too much debate on who deserves or who should possess this Flag, I know exactly where I am sending it.

I have an idea that may or may not have been suggested (I haven't read the entire thread, just pages 1 and 2, and 64!): Once a particular relay flag has been made, relayed, and filled, it could be retired. It can be raffled, with the funds going to whatever the riders deem appropriate- KZR emergency fund, children's charities, downed rider support, disabled vets, or whatever- matted in a nice frame, to be hung in the raffle-winner's ride abode. If riders wish to start another relay, create another flag, whether identical or different from the last one.
Wider-area riders can make ride flags specific to their area. How about a ten-province Canada flag, or a thirty-one state Mexico flag? For the truly adventurous, how about a South America flag?

Lawrence won't be much help in tracking me down. He is in Brazil visiting his wife's family.
