S.B. is a nice cruise, then maybe up the 154 towards lake cachuma? There is supposed to be a place to get a killer tri-tip sandwich back off of hwy154. I'll look it up.

Just wanted to bump this up in hope of getting more interest.

That killer tri-tip place is just off the 154, last left before you cross the bridge going down to the valley. It's called Cold Springs Tavern. GREAT ride but, a little boring through SB itself. If it's starting in Ventura County, then taking the 150 through Santa Paula and up to 101 just south of SB is the ticket. Then, head to 154 for tri-tip!

I'm sure Mike has the same gouge on the route!

Anybody come up to NBVC Point Mugu for the 4th Annual Ride to the Flags event last weekend? I was on the shovelhead and only saw one older liter bike.....a GS1000. It was a killer ride up Potrero (sp?) Canyon, through t-oaks, then hidden valley, malibu canyon to Pepperdine. 950 bikes!!

I'd be up for a ride to SB or Big Bear....330/18 rocks!

So... Is it next Saturday or Sunday? Where is the meet up?

I believe we were talking about Sunday, the 25th. Supercharged is gone until next Friday or Saturday I believe. If we're going to Santa Barbara, I agree; up the 33 and over the 150 to Carpenteria makes for a more scenic and twisty ride. I also agree on the 330/18 route through the San Bernardino mountains, lots of twisty fun!

I don't think a meeting point has been determined, since we haven't finalized where we're going and who is going.

Yeah Adam, that sounds good. Maybe someone in the Valley or SB area knows of a good place to meet?

Sunday the 25th is the date, up to Santa Barbara is the "rough" route (I don't know any roads up that way, so I'm looking forward to seeing what y'all come up with). I'd say maybe a 10 or 11 AM meet time, I'm over in Redlands, so it'd take awhile to make up up there. I'd gladly meet people along the way too!

OK, do we have a short list of people that wanna go? That will help with a mid point meeting spot if necessary. Mike's (supercharged) office is right off the freeway and easy to get to. Mike and I would probably be the last pickup at his office since thats where he keeps the bikes.

From there we can take the backroads to Fillmore, down the 126 to Santa Paula where the Oil Museum has a temporary Kawasaki Exhibit of 60's and 70's Kawasaki's (the 25th is the last day to see it too, then pick up the 150 from Santa Paula to Carpenteria, then the 101 to S.B. (if we feel like it) then back again. How does that sound guys?

I am in riding my CSR 1000... My son Alex will probably ride along on his KZ750. We are riding from Santa Clarita so we can meet up with you guys wherever you want, just let me know.

Probably easiest for you and your son to meet up with us in Fillmore, like the vons parking lot at the hwy 23/hwy 126 intersection. It would likely work out well timing wise if you left Santa Clarita right after we leave Camarillo. I'm looking forward to meeting all of you!

Your tires must look like a bald guy... nothing left in the middle and lots around the sides! :lol:

The only turns I saw were at the intersections, where do you go for a ride that isn't as straight as straight gets?
