September SoCal Group Ride

Anyone interested in a September SoCal KZR ride? Maybe Saturday the 24th or Sunday the 25th?

The route is still open, but it'd be in our best interest to avoid "prime motorcycle roads" like Mulholland and Angles Crest. Maybe Big Bear, Idyllwild or Julian?

I missed the last ride because of a broken ignition switch. I couldn't fix my original, so I finally had to break down and buy a new switch (thanks Jeff Saunders). I hated taking off an original piece, but now Red Blaze is running like her old self, and I'm up for a ride. Doesn't matter where, I live in Lancaster, so I alway get to do a ride before the ride.
I should be in, anytime in Sep.

I resolved my pickup coil issue, but now need a new rear tire... I should have that squared-away by then... I will be there, let me know where we're meeting up.

I'm out of town after 9/15.

Anyone considering going to the Queen Mary for the Japanese vintage car/bike show 9/10?

I am trying to go, but I have a 9/15 deadline that may prevent it.

Was thinking about this ride...

The last week in September would be good, then I'll be tied up again till 10/15. After 10/15... I'm relatively free.

I'm not a huge rider at this time, since time has been seriously crunched with work this last year. A great ride for me would be to Santa Barbara, but seems like most SoCal members are southeast of me.

Adam... maybe you can join us? We'll toss the 78LTD bodywork back on and you can ride it... already tagged and ready to roll.

I don't care where we go or when (I'm out of town 9/9 through 9/20). Let's ride!

I just made a commitment for Sat, 9/24, so I can't make that date. Sun, 9/25 is good for me.

So is the Sunday, Sept. 25th looking good for everyone?

Turns out my Saturday thing doesn't happen until 6:00pm. So SWMBO gave me a kitchen pass until 5:00.
So I'm good for any weekend day in Sep.

dont feel bad...there are 0 kz's up here so far.....even so...

i cant set a day to ride with the woman i live with 24 hrs in advance without last minute let downs...
it is a schedule age we live in..... but the bikes ....the bikes come from an era of sunny ride filled days...with other like bikes and cars and time too find a road away from this one...now it is all planned and contrived and fails so sadly..... our best rides to date were on accident or spur of the moment...tomorrow we are both off????..tomorrow we ride!

so are you guys gonna ride or not..it kills the guys reading this with states or more between the next rider to hear you skip a three kz tilt or plan and fail...ride up here i 'll ride back down with ya and then ride home
i'll meet you guys tomorrow at 10:00 @ Morro Bay or 11 am Point Sur ,ride highway one for 3 hrs up and down and part ways....too far???..i'll meet you @ noon at the Santa Barrbara pier..

I wont be able to do Saturdays for the next two months due to soccer games with my girls, but my Sundays are (relatively) free, so yeah Mike, I'd love to cruise the '78. You riding the Pridmore bike?
