I have done roughly 140-150mph with a close to stock bike exception of shocks, no baffled exhaust, and 1 tooth down on rear sprocket
140 to 150 sounds like a stretch to me from a stock 750 unless its a turbo. Thats working a 900/1000 pretty hard to.
I have had my stock KZ650 just over 100 and that was a hairy ride. I have had my 900 up to about 130 and that was working the crap out of it.
Not sure of the land speed record for that bike but you could probably check it out online I would think.
Ride safe and keep the handlebars up

damn ive wasted a lot of time and money on big motors and turbos ,should of just built an 81 kz750! :woohoo:For most this will sound rediculous but for me this is what I want to do. I currently have a 1981 KZ750, that is a semi cafe-racer, and I have way too many speeding tickets to count. Speed is addicting and I've decided I want to build the KZ into a salt flat bike or atleast something of that, not necessarily a streamliner but just fast as hell. Does anyone know the current 750cc, naturally aspirated and air cooled land record? And how fast have you have your 750 up to? I have done roughly 140-150mph with a close to stock bike exception of shocks, no baffled exhaust, and 1 tooth down on rear sprocket
