Hey the Gas prices are maybe going down? Also still summer in the lower 48 so I say get out there and Peel!!

I really would like to. The Doctor has tripled my pain medication and I need to stay around here until i see what is going to happen.

From Kentucky? That sounds like a lot of fun. Hope the pains go away for you Rob. Hanging onto an old bike might create a few. I've got one of those K&G racks with the sliding sissybsr, I put that right up against my aching back!

I have a friend that has a 2008 Police speial Harley that I could ride. Probably Not!

The best thing about riding a Hardley, is seeing all the KZ's go blowing by.
I got 4 bikes and 2 trikes in one pass out by Moab. They never heard me coming either!! I could here them for 1/4 mile before I saw them. Vetter and all the gear on, 115 quite easy

I did my ride today, saw all those great roads, and it was great! minimal traffic until Durango so all in all covered 1014 GPS miles in 16 hours. 60mph don't sound like much, but these roads aint your interstate. Miles of 25mph limits, many citys with 25mph. Don't speed there! 91 starters, I was second to finish, but it isn't a race of course. The goldwing covers the miles, I just sit there. I enjoyed my days taking the KZ1000 on this ride, but that is in the past. Nothing in the world will cover ground as the goldwing does.

Was that another Iron- Butt ride? Same group that you went with last month into Kansas and back?

This was the annual Colorado Freewheelers 1000 mile in 24hr ride. Each year they lay out a 1000 mile routt to follow. It costs $50 to enter and you get a shirt a hat and other little items. They started in in 1986 and it's gone every year since.

Well I have been playing around with my Route slightly. I have been using Google maps, and putting it to Satellite. Then Drag the little yellow Dude down for a closeup at street view. Boy that really helps find the Gas Stations in these little towns in BFE!!

This is going to be a Solo Ride. I've done all the maintenance on the bike, last was the fuel tank electrolysis, and fresh paint. Everything seems good, so hopefully it will be trouble free round trip.
