Wonder if he stole the idea for them from John Entwistle? He had a skeleton outfit back in 1970 at Isle of Wight.

I have a copy of Sideburn Magazine where they interview Dave Aldana, and he said what actually happened was he got a DNF in the first race with the leathers, but it got to the press that the AMA wouldn't let him wear the leathers, when in reality they didn't care. Aldana did nothing because it was good press for him.

i saw that bike on ebay from a texas seller about 7-8 years back..it had an engine with no numbers from kawi...

If you buy a set of bare cases from Kawasaki, they don't come with any numbers at all!!!

I bought some closeout motors from Kawasaki back in 1981 or '82 and they came with numbers.

Kawa sold a bunch of complete H2 750, KZ900, KZ1000 motors for 500 BUCKS EACH!!!!

I bought a bunch of them just for the parts. Dealer cost on just a crankshaft was 225 bucks back then!!!

the add said it was a kawasaki race motor...it was a while back and i was just tunning back intot the cycle scene but i want to say it sold for 6500....
