That year I think they made like 16,000 LTD's, and 3,300 MK II's for the U.S. market.

And of the 3,300 MK II's, 2,200 red ones, and only 1,100 blue ones!!!

The dealerships couldn't give the MK II's away back in 1979.

And I sold mine...go figure...well maybe i will find another...found that one

I used the '79 blue bodywork on my Superbike for years. It was in PERFECT shape until some of the race gas I was using back then got on the gold and white striping. The "gas" eat it up like if it was paint remover.
