I am a commuter, but a road-tripper at heart. I will ride the kz at any given chance. We had 30 degree weather tonight and I still rode to and from work. It takes me 15 minutes to get to work, but I will usually leave close to an hour early to get some riding in.

I ride fairly conservatively most of the time, but love to gas it when I get some open road. I live for road trips. In the near future, I plan on strapping a set of carbs to my back to take a 2 hour trip to a buddy in Beatrice to rebuild them under his supervision.

I'm planning on a road trip to Bonneville for speed week in August, which is pretty much the highlight of my year. :)

I have no style. I just ride around.

BTW, l0g1c, who's doing your carb work in Beatrice?

Nates vintage bike axiom: Riding is the reward for time spent wrenching.
Murphys corollary: Wrenching is the result of time spent riding.

Commuting. I like to work on my cornering and sometimes push the speed limit a bit, but generally take it easy on my way to and from work, even on the days I take the long way home. ;)

Commuter mostly, but I’ve finally replaced enough parts on the old girl to where I’d feel comfortable taking her a long distance. Have trips planned to St. Louis and North Carolina this year. We’ll see how it does going to St. Louis before I promise to go to NC.

At this point and time in life.... One that keeps me and my wife if accompanying safe.... Meaning driving defensively, constantly keeping aware of the cell phone using maniacs on the road...

Outside of that, open/non congested road, preferably in the mountains for echo sound effect, with a cool 70-80* wind blowing in our faces with the sound of that Kerker just a singing is fine by me....

i just like to cruise along, nothing that boarders on downright dangerous.
but i do like the fact that the 1100 has more then enough power to scare the hell out of me once in awhile or to teach respect to the kids with the 600 cc bikes. well at least till they get up in speed.
you see, i have this deep love of life and i know my limitations. no more of that devil may care attitude for me.

ain't getting old a bitch?

someday i will be able to afford my kz habit.
