My riding style is fairly conservative. My go fast days are over, although if you put me on a nice winding road I do have a habit of turning the wick up. I guess you never get too old for that.
For bad weather rides or extended trips, I have another bike that I ride.
You can only be young once, but you can be immature forever!

I have no style. I just ride around.
BTW, l0g1c, who's doing your carb work in Beatrice?
Just a buddy of mine named Ben. He's not a wrench for any shops or anything, just a guy who's probably owned more CB350's than I have fingers.

In short (LOL) I have no style; I ride because I love it.
I ride, all laid back, to and from work. I cruise the back roads just for pleasure. I smoke the harleys on the hiways jujust because it's fun.

I do love curvy country roads - which are scarce around here, but my years of "earoleing" (work that one out) around corners are behind me. As for those V-twins, I just let 'em pass and catch 'em at the next bend!

At this point and time in life.... One that keeps me and my wife if accompanying safe.... Meaning driving defensively, constantly keeping aware of the cell phone using maniacs on the road...
OMR
I'm like you OMR. Too many nutcases out there talking and TEXTING on their damn CELL PHONES! Unfrigginbelievable! I've had more near-misses from these stupid drivers than any other single cause.
As far as riding style, even though our bike (SR650) isn't really a touring type we still use it mostly for that purpose. We added a rack, saddlebags, windshild and a more comfortable seat. I would prefer a Harley or Yamaha Venture for this purpose but the 'ol SR 650 still gets us by for now. We bought the bike for $1200 in 2005 with 5820 miles on it and have added another 30K miles on it in the last 3 seasons, mostly touring Michigan and the Lakes. It is adequete for that purpose, reliable and not too-high-maintenance.
I also ride it to work sometimes too if I can but my job is less than 10 miles so it hardly even warms up.
