Slowly becoming a KZ-aholic. Still want a Duc Monster so it has not developed into full blown problem status. Mainly though I am a project-aholic which explains why I have no free time and hate budgets almost as much as I hate paperwork.

Gotta go, the 650 is calling, something about finishing the hydraulic clutch conversion.

I'm so ashamed... I was trying so hard to break my KZ and Z1 habit I went out and bought a Honda XL600. I suppose to make up for this I should really go buy another kz... :woohoo:

Actually we're starting to have to do some gymnastics to fit the six bikes we currently have in our two car garage and a couple sheds

Hi, my name is John, I have a kawasaki problem. I started off doing kawasaki's with my friends for fun. I only did it weekends and after work. Over the years it became a habbit. I kept telling everyone I wasn't hurting myself or anyone else. Before long it took over my life, I couldn't live without them. Slowly they became my best friend. I woke up in the morning and I needed a Z1 just to get my day started. As I fell deeper and deeper into my z sickness, my life started to change. Everything around me started to change, I was hangging around with different people. When I went out in public I felt alone, I wanted to be at home or on the road. All I could think about was a big bag of Z1 parts. Life was good until my parts bag was empty, then I wanted more and more. I had a part number addiction on my back. I hid parts catalogs throughout the house. Everyone knew I was hooked! My life was down hill when the Suzuki's came out. I was unable to sleep with Kawasaki drag bikes running through my head. I just couldn't get enough bikes or a big enough bag of parts to meet my needs. I was on the edge and my life was hangging by a valve spring...NO,NO!...I mean a string. I was down to my last couple of brain cells and they were on different race teams. I joined a 1200 step group.....wait!...thats not right. A 12 step group. I was kicked out for polishing parts in the bathroom. I knew that my sickness was getting worse, I kept turning to the bike dealers. There was dealer on every corner and all over town, waiting to take my money. I traded a wife and half a child to keep my habbit going.
Well, some may ask what happened in the end of the story.......I learned to buy in bulk!

A KZ-holic doesn't sell a bike without riding it for a while. And only then to a worthy new owner.

You haven't got the addiction until you buy one to ride while you're working on the other (or more). :D

Nate

Nates vintage bike axiom: Riding is the reward for time spent wrenching.
Murphys corollary: Wrenching is the result of time spent riding.
