Back then "ALL" the PS Z1 bikes used Kosman chassis's
It was a kit bike .
Just drop in your own engine.
I believe that was more in the 80's. These bikes would be mid/late 70's era.

Supposedly the head was worked over by a guy named Kevin Murphy. The head had straight intake ports, reworked combustion chambers, dual plugs and welded aluminum braces between and over the top of outside of the combustion cambers. The ports were hugh and smooth as glass. The head worked FANTASTIC!
The head was a work of art and seemed like something Hines would use on one of his engines.
If you determine that there was a VHR Pro Stock KZ please post pictures. I be very interested in taking a look.
Good luck,
Buzz

Terry was racing another bike (I don't know what)when they met. Then I read that they had a Z1 that they raced. I have never seen a picture as of yet. Someone posted something about a black bike. I did see a picture on the net of a black Z1 in the pits by a truck or van, with one of them standing by it. I don't know if I saved the picture, because it was only the frontend of it. I am going to email VHR and ask. If so maybe they will be kind enough to send a picture. I hope it doen't hurt to ask!!! When & If, I get an answer I will post it for all to see........

If the NHRA race doesn't get rained out, this weekend in California, I'm going.
I'll stop by the Screaming Eagle pit and ask Byron about the KZ.
Rain is forecasted for most of the weekend but who knows maybe we'll catch a break and get one good day of sunshine.
I'll let you know on Monday.

The front wheel is off the ground before his feet are. I thought it was painted something like the GS1000 was. That gray with the black down the side and that cool ass (13hp) mag just waving to the crowd. I am thinking of writing a letter to the NHRA requiring VHR to race a wheelchair or skateboard next year. We need a new world record. The new four valve V-rod head will be to easy for Byron............
