so here goes.....
my buddy is learning to ride on a 2008 fz1 and anywhere we go for a ride and park the bikes, someone will walk up to are bikes and start talking about my old beast....
being a proud owner i answer their questions and then allways comes the story....
the best is when i'm at the bank one day and a sherrif pulls into the spot next to me and walks up to the bike before i can get my helmet off....no worries though cause i can tell he's in memoryville ...does'nt even look at me..only the z..."76 right" yup i say " mine was a76,,man was that the best bike" just got er i tell him and have been working on it"nice bike i have'nt seen one same color in years,,have fun"
So now my buddy is used to the people walking by his brand new bike like it's not there and he kinda gets a kick out of riding around fast with a thirty three year old side kick to his 2008...anywhere we park em this happens...any good stories to add...peace craig

That sure is a cool looking bike.

A group of Ducati's (full leathers, riding boots, dark visors) pass me @ about 80mph plus when all of a sudden the rear rider hits the brakes to end up parallel to the bike looking hard at her. Then pulls up to my window and while looking at me snaps his arm at me with a big upward thumb while nodding his head/helmet in approval.
Hits his throttle and was gone...
No doubt about it, 100% positive, he KNEW exactly what I had sitting in the back of the truck.
I just grinned for I as well knew what I had sitting in the back of the truck!

Had a guy offer to double my money for my 750 twin just after I bought it and pulled into the Tim Hortons parking lot with it in the trailer. He started talking about how those were the real scary bikes back in the day and that they could lift the front wheel in third, etc. Hmm...wonder if I should've sold it before he realized it wasnt an H2
Also had a biker looking guy pull up beside me at a stoplight in an old van and start talking to me about the 750. Unfortunately that was after I pushed it past its limit (open road, no wind, that's what it'll do to ya  ) and lost a cylinder so she was bucking and kicking like a harley :silly:  :woohoo:
