my best 60 ft was a 1.4580, but my reaction times suck, thats wuts killin me in the time trials. im pullin off like .7305 lights, which is pathetic. quote]

so is the 60' for a slick and bar bike! For the 134-135 mph bike should easily run 9.50s with just a half way decent 60'

try to find a more compareable bike, the bike in the link u posted has a totally different set up. thats a strictly track bike, stretched right out, im rolling on a stock swing arm, and i can have this bike on the street in less then an hour!

im not trying to say that this is a super crazy fast bike, i am simply saying its pretty impressive numbers for the set up. if you dont believe or agree well good for you, i know wut i got and im proud of wut i ran. case closed, if you dont like it, f*ck off.

easy there bud, aint no reason to get wound up.;)

I would be pretty wound up to if I were on the receiving end of some of the comments here.

He is new to KZrider, but that doesn't make him full of sh1t.

Modprod - you have a bike that looks a little like the one pictured in this thread, don't you? If I remember correctly, you've been down a drag stip a time or two, right?

That's me MkII. Yes I've made a "few passes" over the last 34 years, "maybe" even learned a couple of things??? but I guess that's debatable! I'm way too old to debate about insignificant crap with those who already "know it all" anyway! If someone asks for an opinion I "might" give it but to argue or debate with those that already knew the answer to the question they ask, is counter-productive in my little world!

well i dont know wut the f*ck is everyones issue in this place, what would i get out of making up a bunch of bullshit and digging up fake timeslips and pics?

if you dont want to believe me then thats fine, i guess you havent had a real bike thats had the right parts put together.

you can throw a bunch of goi fast goodies on a bike, but if you dont know the right parts to put together then you wont get jack sh!t.

hopefully an admin will delete this thread already cuz there are way too many immature people on this site who i must say are sum extremely jealous people!

Sounds mean!! I love that 2-step lauch :woohoo:

I remember it taking a while to get used to letting out the clutch with the throttle wide open and just trusting your wheelie bars and slick. Doesn't seem natural, but once you're used to it, it is awesome!! Adding an MSD ignition with a 2-step took a half second off my time with no other mods.

If anyone watched ModProd's video (link posted earlier) you can see his 1045cc machine running 9's. I guess it's all in the set up, not the size.

iroc - don't let the negative guys get to you - many of us appreciate what you've done. Besides, I think some of these guys say things like that just to stir up a little trouble once in a while!:P

Just something for you to think about. Modern slicks and even most street tires have a compound that makes them very sticky after a burnout. Most recommend that once you do your burnout, go to the line and stage. The tire is ready and if you do a dry hop, you take off some of that "stickiness" of the hot compound. Burn-out, stage and go! Not trying to be a smartass, but the old tires liked a dry hop to warm tire a little more, but the new ones are best run right after the burn-out.
