This is exactly what I wanted to read.

If you check out some german sites like Oldschoolsuperbikes.de or my mates z1000r.de you will find some gsxr zeds for sure.Dont know how to do the link thing.

Is that a ZR550 Zephyr rear wheel and swing arm ?

Yes its a zephyr 550 wheel and swinger.Over engineered in true kawa style and cheap of course.As the bike is used everyday rain or shine I prefer to use wheels that are strong rather than race type which can be abit flimsy when encountering potholes etc.I modified a gpz900 front caliper to use as a rear brake.The swingarm is dead easy to fit with 2 tophat spacers and a trimming of the exhaust hanger brackets.Nice to have excentric adjusters too!

I had a link to some vids on U-TUBE of a V-12 KAW awsome back yard engineering. But My computer crashed and I don't have it anymore, You can search U- tube and find it. Ther are several vids like that of different bikes this guy built.

When I visited my uncle in Puerto Rico I was astonished to see so many kz's but many confounded me. Apparently they like to swap out the engines for gs1100 motors from the old school suzis. I like all of those crazy concoctions especially the mini h2. Someone's son must have a major smile permanently on his face. Either that or someone has regressed to their childhood with a vengeance. Cool as all get out. All of these swaps pretty much look cool.

I'm looking for a wrecked ZX6R or ZX7R for parts.
