Everybody knows that Cossacks rode horses not KZ's.

An interesting side note, the ebay seller of the 650 in question lives 65 miles away from where kwkossick/tk_kzr was posting from.

I never bothered to check the auction, but I wondered if the seller found out the razzing he was taking here and decided to dig himself a little deeper.

I figured from what I saw he was the seller. If it's not wounded pride, then it must be a bad trip?

I want to say that I honestly have a kz650 that a friend had fixed up for me. I swear on my life that my kz got up to 143mph. The man working on my bike tuned it for speed. This is why it makes me mad that you guys have nothing else better to do then to knock someones bike. I believe 100 percent that this ad is true. If you think its not then just shut your mouth. Just becuase someone has a better bike then you, doesn't mean you need to start saying crap about there bike.

I just think that if you do not believe the guy, don’t bid on it. If you have doubts and you want to express them in a FRIENDLY way do so. But there is no reason to get hostile about something that "Dont make no difference nohow":silly:

Who you calling OLD? I am 49years young:laugh: In my personal OPPINION, which is only worth as much as you want to take out of it, The advertisement pretty much claimes that the bike is stock for all purposes. In that state I doubt the bike can do 140Mph that is not to say that a built KZ650 could not do 140mph. My stock KZ900 could do 140 if I have a 20Mph or so tail wind. may be this guy clocked the bike with a fast tail wind, I don't know. But I believe that in general a as stated KZ650 propably could not do 140. I have been working on these things since 1978 and have seen a lot of claims, some true and some not.

Yah I still have it. But I also have a 100% stock one (including tyres) which has almost no miles on it. That one I bought brand new when I was home in Illinois on leave. I start it up every two months and that is all.

I don't think they were knocking the bike . Unless , of course , the bike wrote the Ebay ad . You may also have to excuse those unfortunate souls who recently realized that somebody has a better bike than they do . There (their) envy makes them do strange things .
