Anyone from Chicago wanna ride tomorrow? I got a group that we all have some perdy kaws. It'd be nice to have more. The ride around the lake is still on for the 9th of July in case any of you guys decide you wanna experience Michigan.

Saturday is the Rocker Box Run to Milwaukee with some custom bikes.
I was thinking of riding to Michigan again and camping overnight and coming back Sunday. Harbor Springs is really nice.
It'd be nice to find a few more kz riders to ride on Sundays with us or any other given day of the week for that matter.

So the ride was nice coming back and the bikes there were nice going there iffy. If this sounds backwards it is. I don't understand why there is no one in Chicago area that wants to ride and see other nice bikes or just experience the outdoors. Come on guys, sign off the internet and get outside and ride. I promise you it's a wonderful thing.

Just got a KZ650. Rideable but needing some TLC. I'll keep and eye out for when you might come my way (Peoria).

I prefer the U.V. free Interwebs.

But seriously...it's not as easy for me to get away at a moments notice as I had thought. I'd love to do the Copper Harbor run with you the next time you go. Give me a little more heads up and I'll do my best.

how about a run up to Michigan, can be any weekend you like let's all put our heads together and come up with something. The tonup club had what seemed to be around 40 riders making a run.
I'm sure 20 guys from here would be a great start. I am planning on Michigan next weekend and the weekend after next or whenever some guys say hey let's do this this weekend. I am free for another couple of weeks to ride at any time any of you guys want. If there were a few guys in peoria that wanted to ride I think we could all plan something. DoubleDub would love to meet up and ride with you at your leisure just pm me.
One thing I know is that life is short and the summer that's left is even shorter.
This may be my last summer free to ride wherever and whenever when the baby comes my riding may be curtailed a bit or totally, I don't know yet. I'm sure you guys that have children do though. I will cross that bridge when I get to it. I met Barney on the ride up to Milwaukee, very cool dude.

So a run to Michigan, even one to Deal's Gap I'd do any of these weekends before it gets cold even during the week if you guys can manage.
Forest, I was going to call but the guys change plans on the weekend abruptly because of things that come up with our 5-6 guys. So the ride he was going to do that I had tentatively planned to ride with him ended up as a Savanna ride that changed to Lake Geneva the same day as someone had spent the night on a boat getting drunk the night before. ehemm might have been me... But that is the other thing. We that have been riding are flexible enough to ride wherever as we are all up for new and different rides.
Heck, I'd love to go down to St. Louis again before it gets cold and ride out with Riverroad and his group of riders. Those guys love riding! It's great to see a bunch of kaws on the road.

Holy shite man! That is freaking suhweeeeeet! What are you doing this weekend? Care to take a monkey butt ride in to Michigan or I dunno, maybe some great roads in Indiana we don't know about?

The bike on the far side is my friends and the crazy z1 on the inside is a bike he built for a customer. God, I love that bike.
I rode a Ducati 848 last night and when I got back on my bike I freakin felt like I had apehangers and the bars felt way too wide. Then I thought, Ha! that bike wasn't that fast that my bike couldn't eat it. Ha! Dumbarse! I revved my bike up to redline accellerating and was wondering when it was going to go. lol That bike was so fast sooooo fast that it got up to a 100 almost instantly. It was so smooth it felt slow. In fact when I was riding along Sheridan Road all the little bumps in the road made the bike feel really springy but tight. Almost as if there were no shocks. I thought intially hey this bike is too brutal for the street until I got on the freeway and then it was like. "I could ride this bike to California and back." That was until I got off of the bike. Felt like brokeback just got done riding a bull that threw me off trampled on me and horned me in the bum. But somehow that was an enjoyable experience.

Glad that I don't own that bike but it did make me rethink turning my bike in to a fast bike. With all the money I would spend I could just buy this ducati or any other fast bike I like. But I did spend a wad on my bike already. Now I wish I would have just left the engine stock.
