Yes A to B is why I use a motorcycle. What good is a piece of crap that goes 0-100 in 7 seconds. Junk for everyday use. Keep them on the dragstrip. There's a darn good reason all turbo bikes are "low mileage".

Did I mention that my new car has a turbo?
It's a Saturn Sky. Corners like it's stuck to the road, and really goes when you kick the turbocharger.
Can't imagine what it'd be like on a bike.

i am a little torn to jump in on this one. i think the Z-1r Turbo is a very pretty bike, but i sure would not want to own one mainly just for the maintanance. turbo and fuel injection has come along way in the past 25-30 years making forced induction engines more realistic now, but foreign and domestic manufacturers really tried to make a go of it in the 80's and 90's, but where are all the turbo cars and bikes now? for all intents and purposes, they just are not worth the trouble, maybe for you it is but a manufaturer that has to warranty it, it will not be. yes there are a few new cars like your Sky and the Diesel market is in love with turbos as well. and yes you can tune a turbo to perform as well or better than a normal engine. BUT some people do not enjoy that type of fiddling and tuning, and i honestly think a 30 year old, air-cooled, carbed, turbo, while it may be a good investment, would not be a bike i would want to daily ride.
and i also ride bikes for the A to B transportation, and some vacations, i do not think that i have "went on a ride" for years.
i do not know if i expressed myself clear enough so i will end with...to each their own.

So, anyone want to buy the turbo? I'll pitch in my $20.00 and we could have Chris ride it at the track...
