Mid-Ohio Vintage Days July 27-29 2007

My wife helped me set the canopy up today. I took some pvc pipe and made a frame so i can lift one wall up to have more shade. Next year i might make another frame for the other wall and tht will extend over into the other area. We need a cool place to hang out.
Jamie is not going. I can sell parts. Buy gas for the trip home.

I have a friend from the Z1Z900 forum riding from New York city.
This will be the 5th annual meet for the Z1Z900 group.
Probably then 3rd. unofficial for all the KZ guys.
If anyone needs a off the wall part let me know as i might have it.

Roy hardly remembers who he is half the time.

I am getting old ya know! I done double duty this week so i can have the time to get everything loaded.
I think i will live on hot dogs this year just to keep it simple. Maybe some beanie weenies.

Last year i took a lot of pictures and the accidently deleted them. I will try and do better this year. Roy

I will take some video as well. I am only bringing one bike to sell, and I don't even care if ti sells or not. It is the KZ550 I picked up a month ago. Nice little bike and runs good. It does not have a title though but I know in OH you don't need one. I planned on giving it to my cousin in NY but I would rather get him something with a title. If someone gave me $500 for it I would let it go. If not it will go to NY with me. I am bringing just about everything I own that has a motor. I am towing my 16ft dual axle trailer filled with KZ1000, Triump Bonneville, CB450, KZ550, mini bike, Honda Cub, Suzuki 250 4x4 ATV and a riding mower. I am going to load some of it tomorrow. Should be a fun drive. I am interested to see what my gas mileage will be. I get 16-18 normally so I am guessing around 14 for the trip.

Shane who told you that you don't need a title in Ohio? I've lived here most of my life and trust me you do need a title.

I thought Ohio was a no title state. I guess I was wrong. Maybe someone from a non title state will buy it. I have a title for it but it is no good. I bought it from a widow. Her husband filled out the back but then died before he had a chance to get it titled in hid name. I have the title and a copy of the death certificate. His widow tried to get it title but they would not let her. I only paid $200 for it so I am not worried. I will put some plates on it and ride it around the complex and if no one wants it I will give it to my cousin. All of my families friends in NY own junk yards, body shops and repairs shops so getting a mechanics lien or abandonded vehicle title should not be a problem.

I'm planning on shooting lots of pics everyday there. I bought some new gear just to shoot racing pics with.

I'm meeting up and biking in with some riders from the South Bend, IN area and camping for the whole event.

Is Sunday a good day or a pack up and leave day? With most people heading out???
The reason I ask.. it looks like my oldest and I won't make it Saturday until the early afternoon, one or two o'clock maybe... And the wife said maybe she would go on Sunday just to look for a bike for her:blink: or at least get a idea of what she might want.

For what it's worth last year I went down Saturday and Sunday, this year I'm going to go Friday and Saturday. You pretty much nailed it Sunday is pack up and leave day.

The orginizers want the sellers to stay until 3:30 but most are gone by then.
So you are gonna have one more day of fun this year eh Gringo?
It is my birthday and the first day of vacation.
