... Quick question, does anybody know the length of the clutch push rod? ...

PN# 13116-021
29 cm / 290 mm

EDIT: Corrected cm (no decimal point) per hardrockminer.'s catch.  29cm is correct.

I think that should be 29 cm Jim.

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

Thank you, that makes more sense. I initially cut it the same length as the 8 mm which is 335 mm and noticed it was protruding out way too far, no room for the steel ball or the Pusher. I was being lazy and not wanting to pull the one out of my 77 to measure. I knew you guys would probably know it off the top of your head.

Remember those commercials with Bo Jackson?  Bo knows?  Well when it comes to Z1's Jim knows!  (But he's a little weak on metric!)

Does anybody know an easy way to get the foot peg studs out? I need to rob one from the 76 frame I've got to put in the 73.

Does anybody know an easy way to get the foot peg studs out? I need to rob one from the 76 fraime I've got to put in the 73.

Remove the nut behind it.  Should unscrew with a pipe wrench or curved jaw channelocks.

Great, just got one loose with a pair of vice grips. When I was building my 77 I tried it on it and I couldn't get it to budge. The end thread was twisted off so you couldn't put a nut on it. I basically scarred that one up so bad I had to grind it with a stone to get it roughly smooth and still don't have a nut on it.
This one came easily thank goodness. Thank you very much

After respoking the front and rear wheels I decided to do a mock-up of the rear axle. Of all the parts I recently purchased I did not have sprocket hub. I found one on eBay and purchased it and in the mock-up I seem to have a mismatch between the sprocket hub and the wheel hub. The paddles that fit into the rubber cushions seem to be too long on the sprocket hub. See photo. I don't know if I have the wrong sprocket hub or wheel hub. When I compare it to my 77, the outer sprocket hub rim should fit inside the wheel hub with no gap. If I remove all spacers and rubber cushions, The hub bottoms out leaving the same gap
