The tail and side covers are looking very tidy. Nice work!

Nothing really picture worthy this week but I have almost finished reworking the other side panel to match (no vent) I have been building up the fibreglass on the tailpiece as well. Where I glassed in the mounting flange for the lamp panel it's getting a bit thin after grinding it back to get the fit right between the two pieces. I'll be glad to see the back of the plastic work and move forward to the rear sets and exhaust. Just the front end to do then before I take it all apart and start polishing, painting and refurbishing

Another piece of the puzzle complete
Boy am I glad I' not paying labour for this build, I must have at least 15 hours a piece in these side panels. Even at $50ph that would be $1,500 plus materials for side panels
. It's easy to see where the prices come from for "Pro-built" bikes from the likes of Sanctuary (not that I am in any way comparing my work to a pro builder)

I would not hesitate to compare your work—favorably—with an awful lot of "pro builders." Don't worry about the cost of the actual build; your profit margin is all about selling Wookie merch!

Well I guess you guys must be even more bored with the bodywork on this project than I am
I thought I was about there but I just looking at the area under the seat and there were a few things that "irked" me. I didn't like the transition to the side panels, or the edges of the tailpiece panel or the fact that there was no storage for a few tools, spare fuses etc. I knew if I left it I wouldn't be happy (obsessive I know) so back out with the glue and hot staple gun !! Below is the closing box and storage solution (a bit raw at the moment) and hopefully by the end of the weekend I will be happy with the rest (depending on Mrs Wookie's plans)

Nice work once again - and I don't think you're alone when it comes to being obsessive

Awesome how you turn 2 dimensional pieces into a useful 3 dimensional object. Fascinating.

Famous last words, mate!!
I try not to estimate total project time any more: unless I work on it full-time, it's not going to get enough attention.
Also I think there's a certain amount of time lost each time I try to re-engage with a project. If I get an hour to work on something, the first ten minutes will be spent finding things and getting back up to speed with where I was going the last time. Good thing I'm not trying to make a living at tinkering.
