Just a little work on the under side to allow for a gasket, the walls a still 5mm thick which should be plenty.

That's cool, pretty good considering I only gave you 2 measurements. The caps are aircraft style, they are in the mail so I won't be able to get good measurements until they arive, they will need an inner lip/ledge to bolt to. These are the only measurements they had on the site.

The two "tubes"/holes for the caps don't need to be too deep, just deep and thick enough to bolt the cap to. I'll PM you my email, actually, I think you already have it, let me know if you don't and i'll resend it... I really appreciate the help, looks great for an "amateur" ....

Thanks mate, yea pushed what I knew and learned a few new things in drawing this, good thing I had a day off yesterday to take my time, the bones of it is done, from here I can make adjustments easy enough, the looks of those caps you may only need the top section, the bottom can be designed into what is all ready there in the one I’ve drawn. If you get me.or are these the 2 separate pieces?

There will be plenty of room for them, those holes in the piece if drawn are 80mm diameter, i can close them up to make room for the lip and have them a snug fit.

Re: Wayne Gardner tribute {not replica}
11 Jan 2022 00:10I just sent you an email, I screwed up on the measurements, its 220mm long by 125 wide, plenty of room for the caps to be recessed in. I've explained everything {I think}, in the email...There will be plenty of room for them, those holes in the piece if drawn are 80mm diameter, i can close them up to make room for the lip and have them a snug fit.
