Well I finally got a chance to get back to the bike, been nearly 2 months. I pulled the engine down on Wednesday and found no surprises, which is a relief, both chains were pretty stretched but I have replacements for those. Clutch is new and i'll be fitting new damper rubbers inside. Hopefully I'll get back to it this week, clean the head and cases up and get them blasted and ready for paint. Been having trouble getting engine paint due to the supply chain problems, Australia hasn't had a shipment from VHT since last October according to the state distributor here. I have one can of engine paint I've had for a while and may be able to get another, hopefully that will be enough. I'm putting in an 810 kit with a good set of late model GPZ750 cams, decking the head 20-25 thou and putting in a dynojet stage 3 kit for the BS34's, that should wake the old girl up a bit. I'll post some more pics next week....
