I’ll measure my stock and compair to these dimensions. What I have heard is about 1 1/2” - 2” longer and maybe up to a 160 tire

Got the correct hub put on today, I have no idea what the other hub came off of or why in the world somebody would swap incorrect hubs, smh, but this one fits perfect finally. Will have to order a new rear sprocket and then once everything is in line I can measure the offset for the front sprocket as well.

Yup, it is a ZX9R,from 95 if I remember right. The top triple came with the casting for the ignition ground off and a couple of risers bolted on. It took a while before I realized this wasnt standard.

Made some progress and almost have it all finished. Got the gps speedo/tach wired up, front fender mounted, rear tire centered and a bracket made for the rear MC. I had to fab out the centering of the tire since I had to have some spacers machined up. Took it out for a spin yesterday and I'm really happy with how it rides.
I do have a leak with my rear MC, so I have a rebuild kit on order and that should fix the non existent rear brake problem. I also added a neutral light to the triple tree, I was going to add it to the speedo high beam but I wanted to keep that. It was easy enough to add in and it only required a resistor to dim the led to manageable brightness.

I was kringing a little when you started to cut up a beautiful KZ900, but your dragging me to the dark side. It’s looking really solid. Nice.

Thanks guys. I have been trying to figure out if I'm going to do anything to correct the clear coat issue on the tank or just to leave it. I guess that would mean I'd have to get the tank dent removed too, maybe another time.
I was thinking of doing a 2k clear on the tank.
I also threw in the air corrector jets from ZED and changed my main jets. Just needs a bit more tweaking with the A/F ratio but it is smooth through the entire RPMs.

I just added a Dyna-s and finally got the rear brake working. All it took was a new MC and a proper brake bleed.

Super nice. I see you have the same problem I had with my Dyna S. I installed the 3A (I think) Rotor for the Z1900 . The pick up magnet is located slightly different and it put the breaker plate right into the middle of the slotted adjustment. Call Dynatek they sent me to rotor free.

If I can offer a creative well meant critique, The bike needs some gold in the rear to balance out the front. Maybe the shocks, 0r the sprocket and center hub of the rotor. just something to bring the color around 360.
